Andre Martin PhD

Dr. Andre Martin a.k.a. “Dr. Dre” is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and a problem-focused researcher who bridges industry experience and academic rigor to answer complex business questions.

He brings over 15 years of industry experience as a software engineer and program manager, including roles at Xerox and SRC Inc., where he led technical and executive training and managed large-scale software and analytics initiatives. He holds degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, grounding his work in strong technical foundations.

Dr. Martin earned his PhD in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research applies machine learning, causal inference, and large-scale data analysis to study issues at the intersection of data privacy and strategic communication. He also teaches Business-to-Business Marketing Strategy at the undergraduate and MBA levels
